About
I am a punctual, friendly, and highly skilled piano tuner and technician who has been serving the South Coast since 1996. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Music and Piano Performance from UML (’92), but my passion for piano technology began long before that.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to apprentice with David Higgins, who taught me the art of aural tuning, and Martha Jackmauh of Boston Piano Works, who helped me refine the subtle craft of discovering the true voice and character within each piano. Even in instruments that have been long neglected, I believe there is always something beautiful waiting to be revealed.
I have proudly served as the piano tuner and technician for the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center and the New Bedford Public Schools for nearly 30 years. I also work with the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra and Tabor Academy, along with a wide range of private clients throughout the region and beyond.
I am a member in good standing of the Boston Chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild and a field expert in the consultation, installation, and maintenance of the Piano Life Saver System®.
I would be honored for the opportunity to care for your piano and help it perform at its very best.
